The Fun Part
The most rewarding part of this course is learning to recognise and respond to fiver stress. You’ll rise to challanges and master the skills needed to help others in need. Many divers say this is the best course they have ever taken because it makes them a more confident and prepared buddy.

Course Structure
- Day one is dedicated to theory and an introduction to the concepts. We also head to the pool to do some confined water training.
- Day two involves practical application at a confined water site, like a beach, where you’ll practice rescue techniques and drills.
- Day three is the big finale! You’ll head out on the boat to apply your skills in realistic, open-water scenarios, putting everything you’ve learned to the test.
After completing this course, you’ll be awarded the SSI Stress and Rescue specialty certification, a crucial step in becoming a more responsible and skilled diver.

Freediving opens up a whole new underwater world. The Level 1 Freediver Course takes 2 days to complete, the first day starts in the class reviewing the theory completed online and then we head to the pool for the confined water session. The 2nd day is out on our boat Sentinel in Deep Water Cove putting to practice the skills learned in the pool and depth training.

If you are doing any dive training including Discover Scuba Dives or refreshers, please have a look at our Medical Form, if required you may need to get your doctor to sign you off as fit to dive, before completing the activity.
